Well it happened. Now that Sony has discontinued the 60Gb I decided to hunt one down and get it instead of settling for a 40Gb one. Backwards compatibility was a feature that I really couldn't live without. Many people will hark on about the fact you don't need BC because you've got the next-gen. You shouldn't live in the past and play old games. However I feel the PS2 games library is too big and rich to miss out on. Maybe Mid-2008 people will start to be satisfied about the content for the PS3, but until then I'm very happy ...
